There are a number of things on the site that are, more or less, just
floating around, put up for one reason or another, but not quite
fitting in with the other major sets of material on the site:
Sabermetrics: Sabermetrics is, basically, what happens when eggheads who do substantive research apply their skills to the world of baseball. I have a quick look at the most famous practitioner of sabermetrics, Bill James, and keep my own (admittedly fairly sparse) notebook on the goings on in the game, informed by the principles of sabermetrics.
Internet Address Extensions: A list of valid internet extensions, in case you weren't aware that .tv is Tuvalu and .ec is Ecuador.
Visiting Nations to this Site: About what it sounds like, this is a remarkably self-indulgent record of nations, marked by domain, that I know to have hit some part of the web site. I sifted through logs to put together the old list ages ago, when we still had reverse lookup enabled. We dumped that a few years ago, so if you're in a place not on the list, I'd appreciate it if you e-mailed me and told me about it.
Highway 99: A short overview of the highway and some of what's out there on this other (super-)highway that deals with it.
