I mentioned in the last volume of the News that Allison has been out here and was due for still another trip. Her return trip, and the two weeks afterward that we spent in Liverpool and London have since passed and I've got her out here for still a third time, this time through August. She's already found gainful employement at the Alameda Pet Hospital (not to be confused with the Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver of Emergency Vets fame; this one's Alameda's finest provider of medicine for the furry) and working, in general, much harder than I seem to be these days.

Beyond that, there's relatively little to report beyond too-frequent excursions into the world of Book TV, which seem to confirm fully my eggheadedness, and continuing labors in the world of WebSurvent. We are making a fair amount of progress in developing decent online surveys, so if this sort of thing appeals to you, feel free to give one a spin. At least you'll know something about the HTML I have been doing something with the last few months.

On the homefront, not much has been done with the site, itself. The promise of an immediate wealth of new content has diminished somewhat, but I'll do my best to prevent the site from getting sufficiently creaky to deafen. At minimum, I'll try to keep the site of cobwebs away from those of you who are brave enough to visit. And for those of you who continue to complain about me increasingly shirking my duties, feel free to continue to do so.
